Continue looking through the thread for more screenies. The game is set in the asteroid mines of space. Fight your way to the top as you mine asteroids and blow up enemies. The game currently supports a maximum of four simultaneous players, with the ability to join other star systems on the fly. Players can also build and upgrade their spaceships in the spaceship editor. How is this an mmo? It sounds like a 4 player game. Mmo stands for massively multiplayer online. When I search mmo I don't want to find a 4 player game. I want to find a game that has a ton of people playing the game in the very same game world as me.
I think he said it currently only supports 4 players per solar system. So I'm assuming that he will add more players per solar system in the future.
Sorry I didn't explain very well. It's an MMO because you can join different systems with a total support for many people. Each system can contain a maximum of four players, but you can quickly "warp" to other systems when you would like to. Different systems will have different advantages.
You've got to be careful now. Don't get hit by enemy missiles or smash into asteroids. Either of those will cause chunks of your spaceship to blow off.
