Picked the Android version of this up for a $1.50 and it's pretty enjoyable and challenging. I've been playing a bunch of other new releases so haven't put that much time into it yet, but with 30 levels, it seemed like it may be a little short on content. And thus....pick it up while it's $.99!! (Or will be later today/tonight) Grudger Grudger puts his life on the line for the morally ambiguous strangers he calls his customers. It's not a bad game, but in my opinion lacks polish and i find it not that fun to play. Also, the fact the the price dropped in two days says it all enough. So really 99 cents was the intended price I guess. Just get a refund from apple, they will refund your money as long as you have not asked a lot for refunds before. If it is your first or second request, they will give you your money back, I am pretty sure. Just bought this for a buck, it is a very good game. Lots of polish, easy controls, and most important to me, it will probably work great on my hdmi tv later tonight. Would highly recommend this one. Highly recommended. Is it just for this weekend? Connector Well-Known Member May 6, 2012 15,512 1 0 In the Chatroom http://thechatroom.freeforums.net/ #11 Connector, Feb 24, 2013 I personally think it will be permanent since it is a great 99 cent game, but at $3, it probably won't sell well. That is why the developer probably lowered it all of a sudden cause it was selling bad. Some games, you know are going to turn freemium by the store and also feel of the game, this one does not. It kind of feels like what a Chillingo game should be like, a very good 99 cent game, so I doubt the developers were trying to screw over early adopters like many developers do with freemium models. But anyway, I know nothing of this. Actually I was looking at the TA game of the week thread before they popped up here, I was interested in both, but at $3, didn't buy on day one cause of early adopter fears. But at a buck, both this one and spunk and moxie are very good 99 cent games. But I agree with the early adopters, these practices of abusing early adopters just ain't right. Now let me talk about wait timers... Just kidding..... For now... Controls are clunky not very fluid leaving you making slight mistakes and the game is a tad unforgiving. Just not clicking with me and more frustrating than fun. Sorry, can't recommend this one. Get One Tap Hero instead. MeanTuna Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2012 752 0 16 Writer #14 MeanTuna, Feb 24, 2013 Its a hard game but it IS good imo, i dont think controls are clunky at all but it is very unforgiving of player made mistakes. Ive played through the first world and there was some missions That took a few tries before getting the 3 silver thingies, specially after making a poorly calculated jump or forgetting I cant run or jump on the red tubes. Honestly I prefer this over one tap hero, and I compared them yesterday as they "live" on the same folder on my phone. Its polished and fun even if its on the harder side of auto platformers. But we want to stay noble. There will be new levels, music and touch-ups. There will be no IAPs; no freemium; no skinner boxes. Everyone will get their money's worth.
