There seems to have been a beta roll-out for this a few weeks ago in 'select regions' damned if i can find it on the usual App Store(s)
Can't find the link but the title is (Star Wars uprising is a prequel to episode 7 - cinemablend) Underneath the picture it states the rollout began 3 weeks ago! :-(
Only for the pre-registration. The softlaunch in select countries hasn't started yet as far as I know.

I live in one of the... So i have played this game for maybe two weeks now and i gotta say that the core gaming experienxe is fantastic, it has some wonky bugs but nothing critical. There's no pay wall from what I've seen, but it is hard to get material to upgrade your gear to 4 star, but I think that is needed for the game to be interesting. No stamina bar either, instead they have daily missions and assault missions. Assault missions can only be played 5 times a day and they are used to collectively unlock new planets (Hoth as of now) by attacking imperial starships that hover over the planet. The game has lots of potential!!
I have to say the game looks pretty cool from what I've seen so far, but sadly not compatible with iPad mini one D:
