Tiny Tower Vegas (by NimbleBit)

I think those of us who got promo codes via Twitter are stuck on version 0.5 of the game until it launches and we can update via the app store. Most of the people on my friends list now have 1.0 or 1.01, and I can't visit their tower.

After many close calls, I finally was the first one to get the code via Twitter! Looking forward to another fun game from NimbleBit.

Same problem. I think they just need to push the new build to the app store. Hopefully it's sorted soon, but I'm having so much fun as is

I have a question, not sure if it's answered already but what does the VIP Package ($9,99) unlock actually? I'm assuming it's only cosmetic stuff?

 

Every roof, lobby, and elevator. Purely cosmetic.

 

Deleting the app and re-downloading from the Purchases section of the App Store should get you the latest version. Just make sure you enable cloud services and play for a bit first (leave the app a few time) while connected to the internet to make sure your game is backed up.

I did that, downloaded the new version but how can I get it to restore from the cloud now? It starts off as a new game.

I've got Snorkel Slots, High Noon Poker and Jungle 21 for now.

 

So I deleted my beta app and downloaded the new one, where do I need to go to restore my tower? All it says in the new app is how to sync, so I pressed that and got an email to my already registered to sync email. Did I just lose my tower!?

 

On a fresh install go to the cloud services menus and enter the email you previously activated cloud services with (nothing to do with your beta email, I was speaking to those who redeemed promo codes). Then tap on the link in the email that gets sent or enter the activation code in said email.

 

It restored! Thank you Ian! I was hesitant in case it overwrote my synced tower with the fresh one. Now I can buy that VIP package!
