Great news! Iphone/touch is certainly rapidly becoming the premier platform for point-and-click adventure classics.

They also use the name iBass when referring to Beneath a Steel Sky, but that's not the actual title ;) I wouldn't worry.

I hope they also bring the rest of the Broken Sword games to the iPhone.

There are four games in this series:

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars
Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror
Broken Sword III: The Sleeping Dragon
Broken Sword IV: The Angel of Death

The last two use a 3D engine. The series' creator is also working on a film script.

    Autosave

There'd better be autosave. I pretty much quit playing Broken Sword on my DS after forgetting to save three times in a row and losing an hour of play each time.

I have a feeling you're in for a treat ;) The iPhone version of Beneath a Steel Sky had an autosave feature - I can't see why Broken Sword wouldn't. Moreover, unlike the DS edition, it's supposed to be fully voiced.

I'm playing this one on my DS, pretty awesome.

i wish i can see more new adventure games on iphone instead of remaking
of the old classics ( which most of them i already finished )

maybe i should just make one myself for my next game :p

Can't wait! I loved Beneath a Steel Sky and more stuff from the same developers can only be great.

Also, I am all for ports and remakes of old classics, as I never played a P&C adventure before they started to appear for the Touch. And IMHO portability is much better suited to this genre.

Bring it on, the more the better, I say!
