Appminer has 209 new games released since midnight. How the heck is anyone supposed to wade through that to determine what games they might enjoy? Anyways - not trying to clog a thread, but thought people might be interested...
Either Apple hired a slew of new app reviewers or they just said f*** it and approved their entire backlog of submitted games
Yeah I got notified of a ton of updates the past couple days, apple is really pushing them through it seems
They must have looked at the huge "stack" of apps they needed to review, and said "f*ck it," and hit the Big Red Approve All button. Edit: Totally didn't see jecebn's post
lol, some apple reviewer just got back from vacation and saw all the apps sitting in their queue waiting for review and said, "screw it"
Or maybe they just got S***faced and just had loads of fun stamping "Approved" on everything they could see... They will be going home with big red stamps on their foreheads..."Approved"!!
Wow 453 new apps released all at the same time? That is a VERY BAD idea. No way is anyone going to go through that many apps to find one that they like.
Funny thing is that all the apps are not bullsh*t apps like the Whack a Mole games. They're actually really good ones like Above&Beyond, Aera, Robocalypse, Zombie Pizza, etc,etc
I feel sorry for the people who didnt check AppShopper or TA today - they probably missed a lot of good titles (titles that will be lost to them in the clutter of the App Store)
I don't know if they're any good or not (haven't got around to playing most of them), but here's what I've purchased so far today: Ninja TD iBlast Moki Burgertime Deluxe Robocalypse EGO City Invasion Knight Chess Castle Warriors Super Shock Football iPharaoh Boom Brigade Gold Miner Joe Headhunter World Poker Tour: Texas Hold 'Em Scarecrow Against the Fire Ancient War The only ones I've played so far are Robocalypse (which is amazing) and Ninja TD (pretty good tower defese game, but definately not the best in the app store) - it'll take me awhile to get through all of the purchases I made today - not to mention the games I've purchased over the last week (Dexter, Dungeon Hunter, Madden + others)
