What was the first game you bought? Did you regret buying it, or still play it today? How did you find out about that app? My first purchase was of Labyrinth 2 (yes I just got an iPhone) and so far I am overwhelmed at how smooth and polished it is. It also like the fact that it has almost unlimited replayablility!!!
Brain challenge from Gameloft,it was the very first period of life of the appstore and there where not so much options
Solitaire. Figured that was a safe one since you cant really mess it up. Got a promo card for Spores when i bought the device, so that made two games. Solitaire is still there, Spores is long gone.
Brothers in Arms. That game was AWESOME when it first came out. I couldn't believe at the time that my iPod could handle a full 3d shooter (as the app store had just come out), and being able to play one from my new iPod Touch was just awesome. I'd still be playing it today if not for space constraints. It definetly holds up to the test of time, despite the graphics and gameplay being slightly dated.
Spore and Katamari. Downloaded both at the same time. Spore was garbage. Katamari on the other hand, is well, katamari...and for that I love it.
Aqua Forrest for 10 bucks, as well as Piano for 10 bucks, and a few other 10 buck apps on day one, it was exhillerating as it was the first day of the app store, however none of those are still on my device..and the 100 or so bucks I spent that day...maybe enigma for 10 bucks was the only game that held my attention but it is hard to say if it was worth 10 bucks so i kinda regret all my purchases on day 1 and none of them are on my device
My first was Civilization Revolution. I am a big fan of the PC games, so when I saw this in the appstore back in August when I got my phone in the top lists, I bought it right at 4.99. Luckily I found it on sale and not at 9.99. The game is worth 4.99, not 9.99. I played it a lot when I first got it and still come back to it every now and then, but I just wish there was more depth to it like in the PC version.
