To this end, knowing that a level can frequently be solved in many levels with different efficiencies, it feels like a big missed opportunity not to include some kind of metrics to measure how efficient the player's chosen solution is and how that compares to the developer's intended solution. A step counter, a counter to measure how many snow rolls are being made, and other similar metrics would make a great secondary goal. Why is this not incorporated? The puzzle mechanics also somewhat rely on a "cheat" in that the snowball would not grow any larger once it reaches the "upper" size. I understand this constraint is necessary so not to break the core mechanics. I know I'm automatically backing myself into a corner, but I hope it stays that way. This is one of those rare examples of taking a simple mechanic and taking it in all possible and unexpected directions, often surprising the player during the journey. The level design is terrific; every puzzle has something to say, there is no filler. I also liked a lot that all levels are put together in a single map, and that there are no scores, counters, stars, to distract from the immersion into this fantasy world. The game might seem a bit short, but I think it's right the way it is. The author simply didn't have anything more to say with the mechanics, and adding more levels just to increase their number would have diluted the enjoyment. Anyway, after finishing the normal puzzles, there's a secret meta-puzzle which more than doubles the length of the game The controls have been adapted very well from the PC version. They are actually better, I think. Regrettably, it doesn't seem to run too well on iPad Mini. It stutters every few seconds, with music breaking up. That's after rebooting the device; before doing that, it would simply crash :-( Hopefully this is something that can be fixed. I thought initially I had finished the game and was a bit surprised by how easy the puzzles were, even with the added constraint that Spoiler you can always solve each puzzle in isolation without leaving its own garden. And then the floor drops when I discovered ***completely by chance*** the bonus puzzles in the Spoiler dream world ... Good idea that the developer sees fit to give a "tutorial" bonus puzzle before letting the player tackle the "true" bonus puzzle. Once you realize the secret, it makes you think of the entire game so differently and having the need to replay the entire game in a different way to solve the bonus puzzle. Yikes! I can't think of another puzzle game for the iOS with such a big secret that the developer does not even advertise!
