At first, I thought your game was boring. Now, that I've got the hang of it, it's amazing!!! I've got like 1,501,000 points (lol) My USA Itunes account ID is popblanks. (I also reviewed the app but it's not showing right now) I'm pretty sure that by 12~2 I can get to 2.5million. (and I just started today..) Questions again: 1. If someone wins a prize, can they win another prize? 2. What does getting hit by bombs do? (nothing ever happened to me) 3. What happens if no one gets to 2,500,000 Also, can you please not do any updates to mess up the scoring system? (some other developers did that once) OMG I really want that Ipad..

If someone wins a prize, can they win another prize? A. Yes, you can theoretically win all of the prizes, but you'd have to be pretty lucky (assuming more people can achieve the cut-off scores. Right now you wouldn't have to be very lucky at all!). Q. 2. What does getting hit by bombs do (nothing ever happened to me)? A. Getting hit slows you down. It will slow your movement and turning. It used to be that you could sink, but testers really didn't enjoy that so we changed it. However, being slowed while a pirate ship or two is wreaking havoc or when ships get faster is usually a death knell, so there's a very big incentive to dodge enemy cannonballs and to try to stay clear of Merchant Ships. We might add a visual indicator in an update to show that you're slowed. Q. 3. What happens if no one gets to 2,500,000? A. I'm pretty sure someone will, but if for some reason they don't by 30th April, we'll draw the other prizes and extend the contest until someone does. We definitely won't do any updates that trivialize peoples' hard-earned scores!

Hi Rokrdude. You get a red cross for each Merchant Ship you don't sink. This includes: 1. If a Merchant Ship sails off screen, then you get a red cross. The Merchant Ship will flash just before it sails off screen to try to attract your attention. 2. If a Rival Pirate Ship sinks a Merchant Ship, then you get a red cross. So one way or another, if you lose a Merchant Ship, you get a red cross.

Well I scored 2,594,020 so far but I'm going to keep working on it! I will write my review for it later tonight! I wanna get the achievement Scourge of the Seven Seas!!
What I did was avoided shooting ones near the edge till rival pirates start showing up and then try to get the no miss shot bonus going and use most of the voodoo spells and that should get you pretty close to 500k and don't forget to throw rival pirates overboard I didn't realize that gave points for awhile. Darn got 2,985,180 and need 3mil for another objective so close!
Congrats, Dave! You're the first to qualify for all prize draws. @Zylch The only thing I would add to Dave's advice is to cross your fingers for an early Crimson Shot pickup. It can really boost your score along.
Wow Daver16, that's awesome. I can't get past the Rank 4 where I have to kill a bunch of ships without using ricochet. That's incredibly difficult. So far my high score is 775K. That's sekr3t on GameCenter. What do I need to do to be added to the 500K list of contestants?
Ahh!! I'm stressing out... I've gotten 2,450,000. There are only 1 or 2 people ahead of me (w/o Critical Dean) I'll have to wait til next weekend to play... Plus, Daver16, you wanna be kind and let a 13 year old win the prize? lol

just use a bunch of voodoo items, especially the whirlpool, davy jones one, and the tornado thingies. a couple more days and i think i can break 2.5 mil, i'm at 2.1 or something. stuck on shooting 20 ships while a ghost ship. brilliant idea for a contest CheekyMammoth!
