This will be the official Mass Effect Galaxy is OUT!!! thread. So far I haven't found any sightings of it on Australia or New Zealand, So if any of you guys find it in another country or here, just post the link here! I'm very excited! I'm sorry but a scrappy thrown together project lamer than a stripped down version of Dark Raider 1.0 does nothing to elicit the same feeling of awesome that the main game did.
I'm personally picking this up no matter what price, I think it's going to be great, I want a game like this.
Well that's what greedy EA is counting on, people dishing their money out on garbage tagged with the Mass Effect name. The real mass effect is one of the greatest games, this iphone game is an insult or a bad joke or a scam.
I loved Mass Effect for the 360, but this seriously doesnt look like a good game. Not only is it estimated at 2-3 hours (from memory of reading an article, and isnt a bad time really except it looks like it has no replay value), but the controls just dont look good at all. Personally, the visuals may be polished, but its pretty bland in terms of the environment. The gameplay (shooting) looks slow, awkward, and boring. It just doesnt look like Mass Effect at all, and I wouldnt buy it just because of its name and just because I'm a fan of it... the game just looks bad.
Gotta go with Javier and SoCal on this one. It just looks awkward to play. Maybe it's doomed by the license with expectations set too high... but even if I hadn't played the console version, I doubt I'd be won over by this iphone version. Looks too formulaic or something.
Really Slapshot? Why doesn't everybody just go make a thread about an upcoming game and slap (no pun intended) on the word official. They have no clue when it's coming out, just make a release thread.
Let's post threads for every single game we're excited about! I'm really excited about Warpack Grunts and Madden NFL and NBA Live and NHL and Tyrian and Spore Creatures and Command and Conquer and the list goes on... I'm not trying to be mean or anything just telling you to not post these type of threads. And yeah, this version looks horrible. Atleast make it 3D with NO ACCELEROMETER CONTROLS.
You all need to chill out. The whole point for this forum is to talk about new games coming out, to get excited about them and talking about them. there is NOTHING wrong with making this thread. Its ok Slapshot, I got your back brother!
