I saw this and thought yay! Then I saw it doesn't have plus+ yet and I heard the first was basically the same as the second.
haha! It's probably fan service. The game was featured at WWDC. They took Topple 1 off the appstore so that more attention would be on Topple 2 and people wouldn't buy the first in confusion. But that also means that the cheaper choice is gone. It could also be that the update with Plus+ is in Apple's hands and they want Topple 2 to be the game you buy and get a taste of what Plus+ is.
The original Topple was enough for me. I guess to some it'd be worth picking up. Never got into the game, really.
damn and i just mistakenly bought this at 2.99 when I meant to download the original topple again for free....
I cant say that I have many goals. I have been working on one for awhile though. You may not think it is as fulfilling as I do but I am not going to give up. I am going to keep on stacking. I want to stack as high as I can and maybe soon get to the clouds. Thats my goal, to stack to the clouds. If one mistake is made, the entire stacked up tower will collapse to the ground and I will start back up again. I wont give up until I reach my goal, I wont. Topple 2 is a relatively new game my Ngmoco in which there are 30 levels in over 6 worlds where you stack things, in 4 various game modes. It is very fun as you struggle to get the hang of it; stacking the various shaped blocks higher and higher. Even try reverse-gravity mode and stacking upside-down! I got this game last night and didnt stop playing until I got to world six! This game is addictive and definitely a comeback to game. I havent tried the original Topple but if it is as good as this, it is worth looking in to. Topple 2 has great polished graphics for the game it is portraying. You get the urge to practice at lower levels often and sometimes go back to worlds to check out the challenge. It does tend to get much harder near the end, but if you practice you should be their soon. It isnt a game that I could sit down and play for three more hours after I beat the game but it is worth getting. I give it a 4 out of 5.
Bought this but it doesn't work on OSes below 3.0? Wasted the purchase. Seems like a hasty decision as many people aren't running 3.0 yet.
