This looks very nice !! It's a shame your are not using openfeint, plus+ or Agon. For me a top 50 is like not having any leaderboards at all, unless you can see your rank even when you are not in the top 50. Unfortunately, if the leaderboards stay like that, it's a deal breaker for me. Even so, this looks so nice, why not have quality leaderboards ? The screenshot I see of the leaderboards does not match the quality of the rest of the game IMO. If you leave it as is, maybe you can make a top 100 and show the players rank so they can see where they stand if they are not in the top 100. it's not really motivating when you have no idea where you rank.
i think this looks great aside from the background. I would put a blurred image of a real casino setting to add realism.
