      my bad if this is the wrong section. i upgraded once again to 3.0 but i noticed that my battery goes diwn super fast. anyone elae notice thsi?

      mine seems better. But I have an iPod Touch 2G with OS 3.0. :D

      Yes, this has been happening to a lot of people.

      One thing I tried that worked very well was to go to Settings > Mail > Fetch New Data > And turn Push off, and set Fetch to "Manually."

      This helped my battery out a good bit =]

      Mine seems to last longer. I played real racing for like 45 minutes after hitting 20% left and wasn't even done yet

      Mine seems to go down faster while playing games, and slower while watching movies. I thought the new more powerful graphics might drain bettery faster. And, it was interesting that Apple advertised the improved battery performance by highlighting better music, web-browsing, and movie battery life...they said nothing of games...which I thought was a little shady. Using 3GS with 3.0
