Top Shop and Culdcept are both great games, and I haven't seen anything like them on the iPod/iPhone. Zooloretto is great, but completely different.
Rankosao, if you want something very close to monopoly get millionaire tycoon as it very similar and really enjoyable. For something more abstract get xeno sola
+1 Xeno Sola is good (clone of Carcassonne) but plays very differently from Monopoly (you build out the board, placing "bets" on features, hoping to complete those features to score on your "bets") It is one of my most played board games on my iPod Touch...
You sound like your talking about a game that's not even out yet. I am intrigued. I think i will wait for this one.
