I've only played survival once for high scores (played once using the circle method to get the golden eagle). I got to 350,000 pretty easily with minimal damage when a tongue zombie appeared on the other side of the balled up mass of zombies and pulled me through the balled up mass. I died instantly. Not sure if I was unlucky or if balling them up is not the right strategy.
well, i made the zombies follow me and when a tongue zombie pulled me in, a shot it straight away and ran on, only losing a tiny bit of health.
Maybe my mistake was circling the balled mass of zombies (instead of dragging it around), increasing the chance that a tongue zombie would appear on the opposite side of the ball.
I finally broke the 20 minute mark, 20'05", and my score was 3497790. I now never want to play survival mode ever again
