Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel http://www.johningato.com/ http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jingato/survival-horror-ios-game-childs-play-charity?ref=search Found this while perusing Kickstarter. The game didn't get funded back in July and the dev has been quiet for a long time. I don't know if the game has been put on hold to pay the bills or not, but it seems way too good to toss to the wayside. I was thinking that if World Without End could get a feature on Toucharcade front page, why not this? Chillingo could also look at his game and give him a hand.
Holy hell. Quite surprising no one has helped fund this, publisher wise. This would easily be a top contender on the AppStore, among all the emo birds, and ninjas.
I know, however the OP states it was targeted for iOS devices. So an iPad 2 optimized version could look quite similar to this version. Which would obviously attract some attention. As a shallow gamer I find any UDK game to be worth my while. Well, almost any UDK game. March of Heroes, eh not so much. Everything looks the same as Gamelofts old games which use the old, albeit, severly outdated, engine.
I'd rather have the regular Unreal Tournament 3 than a UT3 mod. And since this seems to just be a mod I don't think it will be as easy to get it running on iOS, because UT3 needs to be ported first, right? I'm sorry for my lack of excitement.
I found this and contacted the developer ages ago. He abondoned the development for iOS due to insufficient funding.
Most of the environment art there is taking from Unreal Tournament 3 and the weapons is taken from this cool UT3 mod: http://www.runestorm.com/crucible You should ask the Runestorm guys if they port any of their projects for iOS!
