I would like to see what innovation cloud based gaming could bring to the iphone platform since its very nature is to have a persistent connection to a network.

In theory u could push some very high quality games and break the hardware limitations of the device and set new boundaries by doing most of the intensive processing in the clouds where the iphone itself would be nothing more then a glorified thin client with a high speed connection (hopefully)

    what do you guys think?

It takes more bandwidth than the Iphone readily has access to to send good framerates worth of graphics to it, even with wifi. Plus, you're looking at a game where you have to pay a monthly fee, since the game developer has to maintain the server that's processing all your nice graphics for you.

We'll see something like this for desktop PCs, or perhaps a video game console before someone does something like this for the Iphone.
