Hey Stantastic - Great, thanks! We have received a lot of interest already, but we still have a few open spots for beta testers. So keep them coming
Hi All Thank you for your interest and beta test sign ups! As mentioned yesterday, there are still a few open spots, if anyone wants to try it out. We promised we would show more stuff this week, so here is the App Icon for the game. It features the main hero of the game - Bluestone, a former royal knight, who specializes in melee attacks, armor and protection spells. The story goes that he was champion and bodyguard of Maxander II, until his Highness died under suspicious circumstances, supposedly slipping on a piece of soap. Rumor has it that Bluestone is still haunted by this fateful event and therefore rarely bathes.
Hey guys, Here are some new artwork examples from SoulSpark. This is Ohna, who specializes in ranged attacks. Ohna's quest to find the SoulSpark was bestowed upon her by The World Willow, an ancient, magical tree whose voice Ohna claims to be able to hear. Armed with the legendary Heartseeker bow, she has both pierced and broken countless hearts throughout the realm. In contrast, this sinister undead "Mass of Dead" is a creature that uses curses to make healers very ineffective against it. This grotesque abomination is the pride and joy of the dark sorcerer known as Wyvern, Queen of the Dead. Created for purposes of sadistic entertainment, its powerful hug makes it a rather annoying opponent. You can check out more artwork at the newly released SoulSpark website
Without breaking the unwritten NDA, I just have to get some hype going straight away by saying that the battle mechanisms are really clever and to my knowledge wholly exclusive, the game is shamelesly attractive and polished, and that this title constitutes a rebirth in spirit of a now defunct iOS classic that I have pined for ever since its demise (but with enough character and unique mechanisms to have Soulspark stand fully on independent and very purdy legs). Also, Steve Prescott art. Classy niche cred. Copenhagen Creators, just holler when you would like to see some more details leaked, and I'll offer detailed impressions.
Hey Ayjona - Thank you for your feedback! We are very happy to hear that you like the game and its uniqueness. Sure thing, we will holler when we are ready for the leaks to begin We'd also like to announce that we'll be sharing more artwork from the game on monday - so stay tuned!
So far I have played this for around 45 minutes and I can say that it is quite a neat game. As Ayjona has mentioned, the mechanics of this one are quite unique so should be worth any fan of the genre checking it out when it finally arrives. The battles are card type but they can be made quite frantic by the mechanics which is a good thing. Ayjona what defunct iOS game do you speak of?
Thank you Talbs for your feedback, much appreciated! As promised, we're sharing some more artwork from SoulSpark. These are some of the sinister enemies that you'll encounter during the game. In ancient legends this greater demon "The Air Demon" is often referred to as Bakhzaris, the Horseman of the Sky. In the last eightthousand years no-one has ever encountered the likes of this creature, and lived to tell the tale. When the Fallen Dwarf warrior is filled with rage it might be a good idea to nerf it. Now residing deep within the darkness of Frostmitt Keep, this creature proves that no grudge can rival that of the bearded. This ancient silverback is angry, bitter and just wants to be left alone. Get off his lawn. Seriously.
Hi krillin63, unfortunately our beta testing has now closed, but thanks for your interest! However, we want to announce that we'll be sharing our official game trailer tomorrow - so check in again there In the meantime here are a few of the battle cards that you'll need to create your own unique strategy and beat the enemies we showed yesterday. The emerald shield is a powerful instant cast card that combines both protection and armor spells. The devils fork is an uncommon loot card that allows you to cause serious damage to your opponent. But choose wisely as the loot cards can only be used once. The pike axe is an uncommon melee attack card that ignores and instantly destroys any protection or armored spell used by the victim.
Hey guys, As promised we are sharing the SoulSpark game trailer today! This short teaser trailer will be used to present the game on App Store. It'll give those of you who didn't have a chance to join the beta testing a good idea of the in-game feel. Let us know what you think Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Hi Guys, Hope you liked the teaser trailer Today we'll be sharing another of the heroes from the game: Mala. Mala is a healer, with a variety of healing spells. She is the daughter of the famous magician Malamar the Seer and upholds the laws of Unconditional Devotion. Spending most of her time in her fathers garden, she often daydreams of curing every disease in the world.
The game has really interesting game play and that is all I can say while my time in the beta. Surely am looking forward to the release!
