I don't know if you're talking about the iPhone or iPad version but the iPad version only requires 5.1.

Just download it using iTunes on your PC/Mac for future use.

bought it when it first came out. first i didn't think much of it, but after a while i learned to love it. very useful for sketching beat rhythms, and has a nice selection of percussion kits. One thing bothers me that each kit only has 9 sounds which is a bit lacking IMHO because it's not enough to get a good drum kit coverage. needs broader kits.

Good timing. I was wondering whether to pick up this or iElectribe. In the end I bought iElectribe yesterday while it's still on sale and now this is free!

Yeah...the ipad version does look (haven't installed it yet) quite a bit more impressive. Also, and I don't know if this app uses it, but ipad music apps are the only ones that can take advantage of the camera kit (30-pin adaptor to USB; allows you to directly connect, with no audio lag, a lot of ipad music apps to a DAW/recording studio program/ etc. on your computer)..

  14. Well, didn't pick this up whenI first saw it posted, but seeing all the comments made me reconsider and pick it up after all.

Habakuk, I noticed Audiobus the day is was released, and posted a comment in the musician's social group. The reviews are awesome...I'de like some inpressions. If it can help manage workflow between ios apps on the same device, it could be a real game changer; turning some "toys" into practical programs and pssibly reducing the need to use a PC/Mac before transfering a mostly finished work, especially when more programs are updated to use it.

Those are my hopes, at least. It can be a royal pain doing midi-out/midi-in between multiple apps on one device, or using audio copy&paste to get around the fact that there is no true multitasking on ios.

  17. If you guys like this, then you'll definitely get a kick out of 8bit Drum Sequencer. It's fun to mess with. Try it out.
