I've been playing off and on since then and so far I'm really liking it. It's a really cool lil hack & slash RPG that's actually fairly deep. It honestly took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting much when I downloaded it. I'm not sure of how long the game is. I've only put about an hour or so into it, but it's definitely a neat lil game that's worth checking out. Manbat Well-Known Member Dec 18, 2015 73 0 0 iOS Dev Warsaw, Poland http://www.slashingame.com #3 Manbat, Dec 18, 2015 Thanks NEON! About the game length - the story mode can be finished in around 10 hours of constant play, but depending on your style of play it may vary a lot. After finishing story mode (or during), you can enjoy Infinite Dungeon and PVP arena, which can be play as long as you like. I think it is everything I was looking for in an RPG on the IPad. You can grind to level up if you wish. All drops can be worn by your character as it is a classless system. You can learn spells and equip items and armour that effect heath and mana regeneration and other stats. The battles are fun and the sound effects help to make the game really immersive. You can even decide on the sex, head, eyes , hair and skin colour of your starting character. And you do see everything you equip, appear on your hero. There are quests and Boss battles. A lot of work went into this game. This it the type of game you play and suddenly realize it is three in the morning. The background music is epic and I love how each creature makes it's own sound. I paid the two dollars to remove ads and to get the third spell slot. You do have to be careful though. You have three lives. If you use them up, you will need to wait for them to recharge (with a timer) or use gems to spawn again if you have them. This is the only part I'm not happy about. But don't let the timer scare you away. You really should try this game out as it is a real fun game. I only usually die when attempting the harder unlimited dungeon. When doing the regular game with the quests I never died enough to have to wait for a timer. I would like to see the following added to the game. A way the check the stats of items you wish to purchase. I can check them on drops but not before I buy them from a vender and that's just strange. The ability to climb down wells to explore. Cracked walls in the dungeons that you break to find hidden room. Quick change slots that you can click on to change from a bow to a sword and shield or a spell in the middle of battle. The ability to search the skeleton bodies on the ground. A way to sell all potions at once instead of one at a time. This game has hug potential! Thanks Repulsa Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2015 1,582 79 48 #5 Repulsa, Dec 18, 2015 Ugh timers and gems looked like fun if it was a premium game I would have bought it in a heartbeat Manbat Well-Known Member Dec 18, 2015 73 0 0 iOS Dev Warsaw, Poland http://www.slashingame.com #6 Manbat, Dec 18, 2015 There totally is a way See the image, it will explain everything: It works the same in the online auction house. jsrco Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Oct 15, 2009 2,134 1 38 Coordinator Seattle https://www.Fatthunder.com #7 jsrco, Dec 18, 2015 Ughh so IAP past the back pack..... anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,045 623 113 #8 anthony78, Dec 18, 2015 Gonna give this a shot although I wish there was an IAP to remove the timers. Honestly still probably my least favorite form of F2P mechanics. Manbat Well-Known Member Dec 18, 2015 73 0 0 iOS Dev Warsaw, Poland http://www.slashingame.com #9 Manbat, Dec 19, 2015 Hi Guys, Don't worry about IAPs - it is tested, that you can finish the game without spending a penny. Also death timers are not aggressive - if you play carefully, you will never hit the point where you have to wait for re-spawn (or have to use Power Crystal). Lives are beginning to restore right away, so if you die less then once per 30 min, you will have your previous live restored by the time you loose another. Also, if your character hit the 3 deaths timer, you can leave it for some time and create/play secondary char - Lives are counted separate for each one. I was trying to keep all this stuff as friendly as I could. Cheers! -Pawel roy2x Well-Known Member Feb 27, 2015 91 0 0 #10 roy2x, Dec 19, 2015 The adds slow down the game for me. Especially when multiple ones start dropping down. Gameplay is usually smooth until they start moving again. Playing on an Ipad mini2. Manbat Well-Known Member Dec 18, 2015 73 0 0 iOS Dev Warsaw, Poland http://www.slashingame.com #11 Manbat, Dec 19, 2015 Thanks for reporting this issue. Its probably the animation when they show/hide. I'll take a closer look how to optimise this. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,878 355 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #12 stubbieoz, Dec 19, 2015 This game is a very nice casual rpg, though "casual" being the operative word. Not a lot of stats and such and quests are mainly go fetch. The game looks quite good and also has no interface problems due to the increased screen resolution on an iPad Pro, like some games do. So far I have my character at level 8 after playing continuously for a couple of hours. Have not yet seen an ad pop up....just luck? The iap's seem very fair and I have not yet felt the need to buy anything, though if the game continues to be fun I will probably spend money on a couple of the purchasable characters and extra stash and skill slot. Dont be turned off by the game being free. So far it is definately not pay to win. predator8u Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2013 94 0 0 #13 predator8u, Dec 20, 2015 Last edited: Dec 20, 2015 This game is GREAT! I started to play just to check it out and 2 hours later I'm hooked. The IAP is OK( sure I would prefer to pay $$$ and get the full game). I haven't encountered any timers yet. iOS is lacking in premium action RPGs and this is exactly what I was looking for. I have some suggestions Make a way to sell multiple items at the same time. I pick up and sell every single mushroom/item and then when I go to sell 10 mushrooms I have to sell each individually. Make it so you can just select now many to sell. I'd like a bigger inventory, maybe you buy a bigger backpack in game(not IAP). Right now I get 1/4 of the way though a area then have to turn around to sell everything. An indication of how many upgrade points you have to spend. Sometimes I get in a trace and don't upgrade for a lvl or two but I don't know how many points I have to spend so I can't plan as well as I'd like. A way to get rid of ads( nothing I hate more then being force to look at ads) if it has to be IAP so be it. Being able to resize the map, honesty the way the map is now isn't very helpful the small grid doesn't really rely the info I'd hope. I'm not sure how to quick fix this given to game is random. Also a way of knowing if your currently equipped weapon/item is better or worse then one you picked up. Maybe green stats means better and red stats means worse then your currently equipped item Also when does the third special ability slot open? I hope it isn't IAP. Overall I really enjoy this game as a time burner. I would recommend it with no hesitation. Good art, good writing, good times. Manbat Well-Known Member Dec 18, 2015 73 0 0 iOS Dev Warsaw, Poland http://www.slashingame.com #14 Manbat, Dec 20, 2015 Thanks for great suggestions and a positive review! The multi-sell/buy will definitely be introduced - lots of people are complaining about this. The inventory size if unfortunately an issue dictated by screen size of iPhone 4/5 - it was initially bigger grid, but the items were so small that it was easy to mis-touch them. There is an IAP for ads removal - just tap tap the gold/crystals in top left corner, and you will see it. The 3rd skill slot is unfortunately an IAP too. What more information would you like to get from the mini-map? FoxyWoman Member Dec 19, 2015 12 0 0 #15 FoxyWoman, Dec 20, 2015 This is exactly what I was looking for. You are planning to translate the game? If "yes", for which languages? Manbat Well-Known Member Dec 18, 2015 73 0 0 iOS Dev Warsaw, Poland http://www.slashingame.com #16 Manbat, Dec 20, 2015 Yes, we are planning to translate the game into most popular languages, however we didn't decide exactly the set. Any suggestions on that? Jorlen Well-Known Member Jan 7, 2009 1,094 2 38 IT Canada #17 Jorlen, Dec 20, 2015 Can this game be played offline? I don't mind supporting it with IAPs but I want to make sure they are still active / working when I'm in offline mode (which is 95% of the time). Manbat Well-Known Member Dec 18, 2015 73 0 0 iOS Dev Warsaw, Poland http://www.slashingame.com #18 Manbat, Dec 21, 2015 Yes, It works fine offline. Of course some features will be not available while not connected to the Internet, like Game Center duels and leaderboards, and online auction house and post office. But apart from that game will be 100% playable. predator8u Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2013 94 0 0 #19 predator8u, Dec 21, 2015 Another suggestion, Because of the small inventory size I don't know what to keep or drop. So maybe put the sell price in the item stats pop up. So when your out in the field and your bags full you can drop the least valuable item. Once you put the multiple buy IAP I will purchase. I wasn't a fan of buying 3 separate ones. The reason I don't buy IAP is in 5 years and Apple has made your game broken via firmware update and your forced to take off AppStore, those purchases won't effect my backed up copy. Wasted.
