i just saw this in ign few minutes ago even before this came out here
i saw the pic is 480x320 but i second thought because of G1
i thought it was for the G1 phone LOL!

 

I am really liking that 3D model of Optimus in the screenshot. The thick black outlining is the definitive factor, in my opinion. The flash effect looks great as well. I don't really like TBS, though... We'll see if the gameplay has any merit.

 

Ehh ... that purple flash effect, and the FRUITY pose makes me think perhaps Optimus is in some outdoor gay bar.

Yeah, I know what you mean dude. It reminds me a bit of Budokai 2, which had some awesome graphics. I'll definetly be picking this up.

Is it just me, or did it say "pylons" in that video, around where the gameplay starts?

Yeah, I was just going to ask/say the same thing.

And I'm making this the LAST TBS game I get unless Advance Wars or Fire Emblem comes out, which I highly doubt will happen.

The part about the story is awesome

 

Cool review. Wish they had a date on it because ign's release and out now has zero credibility. That says the 25th.

 

Has the price been mentioned anywhere?

 

IGN usually has the last of the month for a release date, so I'd think the 25th is legit.

 

I beg to differ. (though I do hope it's out on the 25th.)

current example...It currently shows "VANQUISH: Oath of Brothers" in still coming soon.

Both there "out now" and "coming soon" sections on numerous occasions have been inaccurate for the iPhone section.

 

I'm not saying IGN's release dates are accurate, we all know they aren't. However, look at the coming soon--all are for the 28th, except Transformers. That makes me think they actually know the release date, otherwise they would have said the 28th.
