Hello everyone, I've been wanting to beta test some iOS games, but i had a few questions that i didn't find answers for. It might be dumb questions, but please answer them if possible. 1) Do you need any special programs for your iOS device? 2)Do you need a computer? 3) What is "UDID"? Thank you for your time
1. No program needed. 2. Some will require a computer. There is an app called TestFlight that allows developers to distribute their beta easily and you can just download the beta straight from your device. If there is no mention of TestFlight, you'll most likely need a computer. 3. UDID is a code. Every idevice has a different UDID. Go to your device on iTunes on your computer and click on serial number. It will change to your UDID. This special code allows you to install the beta. Hope that helps.
