i have bought a few games lately that have really not lived up to expectations and in an attempt to limit this in the future i would like to ask the toucharcade community which games they would recommend staying away from. Specifically games that might have gained a lot of popularity or over hype regardless of their actual quality. Thanks in advance.
Stick Wars and I'd say Zenonia, but I don't want to get flamed....oops I said it anyways It's not the worst game in the world, but it fits the description, "games that might have gained a lot of popularity or over hype regardless of their actual quality" Just my opinion of course, not trying to pass it off as a fact, like I've seen some people love to do on here. There are a lot of other sucky suck games, but those are the two popular ones I can think of right now.
I have countless games that I have bought and played for a few minutes and just left. It hurts, but there we go... However I think I can be safe is stating that 'Sonic the bloody Hedgehog' from Sega has been the most disappointing game of them all. What a pile of elephant turd!
inevitably, you will find enough people to generate an "i hate this game" list for every game/app in the store.
I think Zenonia could be great if Gamevil would just fix the D-pad. We have seen a few updates for Baseball Superstars already, so they will likely address the problems plaguing Zenonia in time. Also, expansion packs like we are seeing with Chillingo's Quest would add value to Zenonia. It is currently not worthy of 5 star reviews but with some easy fixes it could be. Or maybe I just need to grab one of these and get the handheld Zelda craving out of my system.
True, if they fix the D pad that would take away my biggest complaint and maybe I'd be able to enjoy it more. Put that link away! I've been avoiding purchasing one.
i have sonic...to me it plays just like the sega gensis version...if u liked the sega version then theres no reason u wouldnt like this one. If you didnt like the genesis version it makes me wonder why u would pay for a ipod version. My biggest sucky suck game is rolando...it just blew 2 me
You're in luck then, Gamevil submitted their update yesterday for Zenonia and they said they fixed the D-pad.
