Finding himself trapped in the dark pyramid of Khaba, a weak ray of sunlight becomes his only hope. Through chambers filled with puzzles, Michael must reflect this beam against orbs and dusty mirrors to pass each test. When a lit stone opens one passage, another one is blocked and each chamber becomes a further test of patience and reason. As Michael descends deeper into the pyramid, every solved puzzle will also unfold new parts of his troubled story. Almost as if the pyramid itself is testing Michael, an optional story about the dead Pharaoh will demand alternative solutions to each puzzle – but also expose the true nature of Michael’s past. - 28 puzzle levels - Hours of gameplay - Voice-acting - Alternative endings Khaba is a game from Swedish game studio Hello There. Unlike the many other derivative puzzle games using the mirror mechanics, the mere fact that all of the mirrors (including those that would cast more than a single ray of light) in this game are all entirely movable (both translational and rotational movements) makes the levels quite tricky to solve and adds a level of difficulty that is otherwise not possible in the other games. It also means that many levels can be solved in multiple ways. I wonder if the developer has investigated on whether or not there is some "optimal" solution for each level and whether some level can actually be solved using lesser number of mirrors that are given for the level. The only negative so far is the oversensitive control that is frequently misinterpreting my finger lift as a movement to rotate the mirror. A great hidden gem of a puzzle game. cdbaksu Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2013 98 0 0 #5 cdbaksu, Sep 29, 2014 Not free in the US? (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
