The winners of last week's Game of the Week poll are in! First Place: Plants vs Zombies 2 (14 votes) Second Place: Gurk III (9 votes) Third Place: Game of Watchcraft: Spawn of Squishy (5 votes) Last week's thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=200699 The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. Releases active before Saturday are eligible, weekend releases can be nominated the following poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be Touch Arcade forum's Game of the Week. Please note: 1) Developers, publishing partners, or affiliates cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members - no outsiders allowed. If you have to ask someone to create a new account to vote, you're doing it wrong. 3) Suspect votes may be void. Notice of this poll will be given in the threads of all nominated games. You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New" tab. http://appshopper.com/games/new/ Anno Domini Thread Asphalt 8: Airborne Thread Video The Ball of Cthulhu Thread Video Ben 10 Slammers Thread Video Blackbar Thread Video Cloud Spin [iPad Only] Thread Video Cryptic Cosmos Thread Dream House Days Thread Video Grindcore Thread Hello World Thread Video The Impossible Line Thread Video Jack N' Jill Thread Video Little Galaxy Thread Video M.A.C.E. Asphalt 8 Smash Bandits (even though I hate the freemium stuff, the game itself is a lot of fun) Blackbar
Asphalt 8 Sheep Happens (added after trying it thanks to other noms here. Funniest runner I've played in a while). A few others, like Smash Bandits, had potential but were ultimately disappointing. Not that it would have had a chance in hell against A8 even if it was better. On a side note, last week's poll had to be one of the least participated ever. Seriously, with the tallies and PvZ 2 winning with just 14 votes? Guess maybe people decided not to bother figuring it would win anyway.
