Alpine Crawler - 2 million downloads from iTunes

    3D Magic Kft., the Hungary based independent developer and publisher of iPhone and PC games is announcing that its highly successful racing game "Alpine Crawler" - which was released in cooperation with Dimension Technics on October 19, 2009 to the Appstore world wide - has reached the milestone of two million downloads.

    Alpine Crawler is a sideway offroad racing game, enjoyed by millions of players around the world in four languages (English, German, French, Hungarian) with 6 challanging levels and real time physics. Rated nearly 5000 times with five star reviews and after nine months still placed Nr32 on the US Appstore (in top 100 world wide).

    Its paid version "Alpine Crawler World" was released on March 1, 2010 and was sold over 350.000 times until today. This extended version contains Open Feint online High Score, 4 cars, 30 levels and 3 different game modes on race tracks in "Sweden", in the "Alps" and in "Kentucky".

    Alpine Crawler World was Nr1 Game for months in the categories "Simulation" and "Racing", reached Nr2 in "Top Paid Games" and Nr3 in "Top Paid Overall Apps" on the US appstore. It will be featured in a few weeks in hungarian newspapers by Apple. Both games are available on the Appstore in the game categories "racing" and "simulation". Both games are playable on 2nd generation devices and they are also awailable in the HD version for iPad.

    The HD version is currently #28 in Top Paid iPad Apps.

    But how does a game from the future get over 2 million downloads in present time?

    Just kidding - Your date says October of 2010, so I just had to be a smart ass and take advantage of the error :)
