    When doing a Japanese translation is there an 'English' type Japanese language so you can use the extended ASCII character set (codes 0-256)? Or does the translation need to use Unicode with Kanji type characters?

    sorry for replying so late, I am now subscribed to this thread, so I get noticed IN TIME from now on.

    Only with UTF-16 you can be sure that any mix of languages appears as it should.
    And is the only format I accept and deliver.
