I understand that very clearly hah I still work my fulltime job for food,so theres no rush for me.Not saying that I can wait for my baby to show up on app store, but I'm gonna try to make the first release feature-packed and as polished as I possible can. This is really looking cute and if it can fill the tamagotchi niche that would be awesome. Lol, I had a bunch of those on a keychain at one point...angel tamagotchi, dinosaurs, the regular tamagotchi's...those little things were always beeping for attention.

Thanks for the compliment. Petopia is definitely inspired by Tamagotchi which was ridiculously addictive. I really hope we can recreate some of that magic on the Iphone. My friend n I have tried to address some of the old issues w Tamagotchi: the constant attention required, n gameplay could get repetitive,.. n i really think that we've succeed to a certain degree. There still tons of works to do before I can be satisfied w the quality, but Im working hard so it wont be forever till we can see Petopia in store. @Cybertox: when testing phase comes, I will ask for your help. Hi again, Its time for another update on Petopia. so far, I've been able to complete the GUI and most of the stat calculation. The game also let player choose their own background use the photo library or the camera. My recorder is broken so I couldn't show how the camera works, but I have customized the standard camera interface so it fit well into the game. All comments are welcome. Thanks
