    Looks Good

Wow, that looks awesome. Nice work on the video. Can't wait to play it when it comes out.

I love that 8-bit style. It fits for such a retro style game.

I really like the 8-bit graphics too. Cool retro shooter.
Are you going to have beta testing for this?

    Welcome to Touch Arcade btw!!

    Thanks guys!

@thethinice I've been working with a few testers but could always use another if you are interested. Send me a private message about it. I'm in a scramble to add a few last mintute features right now but hope to get a new beta build out next week sometime

    Cheers,

    Dave

Thanks Balu`! Yes, my name is Hungarian, my grandfather came to the US from Hungary as a child.

I think I will add a second 8-Bit level in one of the future update releases. For now, only one 8-Bit level. I've also been considering doing an entire 8-Bit game as a sequel.

    Ah, alright. :)

Sounds great, I think the 8-bit sequel is an even better idea.

So when is this going to be out already?!?

I know these things take time, but I'm just curious since you posted some pretty complete looking screenshots almost a month ago.

I know it seems like it's been taking some time but I've been adding a few features requested by the testers that will make for a better game. Here are a few of the new items:

    1. Virtual Joystick in addition to tilt controls.
    2. Autofire option
    3. Calibration of the tilt controls that is transparent to the user (ie. you don't have to go to the options menu to calibrate it, instead it calibrates when you press start based on how you are holding it)
    4. Upgraded Openfeint from 2.7.5 to 2.8 (better social notification support amongst other things)
    5. Moved the pause/menu button from lower right to upper left (see pic):

I have one more round of testing with the testers to do to make sure that there are no bugs and then I'll be releasing it.

    Thanks for your interest!
