Pretty sure he meant Draw Race 2, as that's indeed about to go free.

    Try out -

    Soozis
    They need to be fed

These might not be exactly what your looking for as they ar more sideways level based but I think you would like them.

For something more like doodle jump try Escape Ape

other good vertical jumpers - tobe's hookshot escape, mist bounce, mega jump

Different kind of jumpers - mr. Ninja(basically more time based, launching yourself from circle to circle)

Capt Antarctica (kind of like a reverse doodle jump but Lot more fun as your dodging things and such) or Mole Escape(simiLar to Capt. Antartica except ur digging)

    (over head)
I'd try reckless racing 2 and/or Mini Motor Racing, Sling shot racing, Death Rally

For behind the back - Sonic and Sega allstar racing, protoxide, Riptide gp, Need for speed

    (side view)
    Lunar racer

(not really racing but must plays)

Reckless getaway (running from cops etc)
    Parking Mania (parking)
Jet car Stunts (Jet car stunt game)
Smash cops (cops chAsing bad guys)
    Crazy taxi (taxi driving)

Recently I got really interested in Deadlight (the console game, not for iOS) and I was wondering if there were any similar iOS games. So, any really good, cinematic 2.5D platformers? Preferable with shooting. And if it had zombies then I would probably say it deserved to be called Deadlight.

Having just played Deadlight a day or two ago through to the end and loving the experience the whole way through, I can say there's nothing on iOS that compares.

You should take a look at Perfect Cell though. At first glance it's nothing alike, but the two games share many parallels in terms of storytelling, aesthetics and atmosphere.

Never played deadlight but have you tried Nyx Quest? Not sure if it's similar but it's good atleast.

If you've played that then maybe Star Marine, Or Apocalpse max. maybe Nihilumbra?

Sorry if those aren't what your looking for but if you could describe it more or give me a video maybe I could think of something..

Out of all the games that came out this week, which are "must-haves"?

    The red Skittle
    [thread=163775]Knights of Pen & Paper[/thread] and [thread=163717]ARC Squadron[/thread].

Especially the first, take a look at the video of the second.
    Apart from that...
    Noteworthy is Need for Speed.

    Hi,
I am a low tech person. Am totally not in to games at all, but am thinking of getting some kind of game for my 7yr old for Xmas. He's a brainy, creative kid who's in to Quests and Dragons and Fantasy stories, along with Greek mythology. I'm wondering if there's the perfect game that requires thinking and strategy and is in the theme of some sort of quest. Not too scary. Something where you're on an adventure and have to make decisions about where to go next and what to do next and involves some good thinking skills....Any suggestions?

Any of the Puzzle Quest games might be good. It's basically a quest based game where any fight that happens is handled with a Bejewelled match 3 type puzzle.
