Apologies for not responding to this before. Launch day and all... :)

The $5.99 price is the price probably until Christmas.

We want to make sure people know how to start online games, because sometimes the Game Center UI isn't completely intuitive:

    0. Make sure you are running iOS 5 :)

    1. Tap "Play" and then "Online" in the app to open the Game Center game viewer.

    2. If you see any games or invites here, you are good to go!

    3. Otherwise, to create or join a new game, tap the "+" button.

    4. To create a 3 or 4 player game, tap "Add Player" to add a third or fourth player.

    5. You can leave the other players as "Auto-Match" for a random match-up, or you can invite one or more friends from your Game Center friend list by tapping the "Invite Friend" button in the appropriate slot.

We'll be hooking up the normal setup screen to online game creation for version 1.1, so that should make it clearer what kind of game you are creating and give you more options like "Public Scores", etc.

Hopefully these instructions will help in the meantime.

    Happy gaming!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

It's turkey time in the US, and we're celebrating and helping make the decision of what to buy on Black Friday even easier!

All of our board game apps are on sale until Sunday!

Medici for iPhone is just $0.99, and Medici HD, Ra, and Tikal are only $1.99!

Last, but not least, we convinced Ravensburger to put Puerto Rico on sale for $4.99!

So, pick up any titles you don't have already and play your favorite board games in between helpings of turkey and stuffing!

    Happy gaming!

Winner of the 2009 International Gamers "Game of the Year" award, Le Havre is named after a French city, containing France's second largest harbor (after Marseilles).

Targeted iOS release date: May 2012

From the genius mind of Uwe Rosenberg, the principle of the game is simple: acquire wealth through selling goods and constructing ships and buildings.

Among the key features of the iOS adaptation will be:

    • glorious graphics based on the original artwork
    • universal app, tested on iOS 3.1.3 through iOS 5.1
    • support for iPad, iPhone/iPod Retina, and 1st gen iPhone/iPod screens
    • full 1 to 5 player support
    • AI with varying degrees of difficulty
    • support for turn-based multiplayer using Game Center
    • full tutorial and help/hint system
    • illustrated rules

In the meantime, here is an initial (beta) iPad screenshot:

Get ready to immerse yourself in this wonderful game and to be able to play it whenever and wherever you want with no setup and no need to refer to the rulebooks!

    Happy gaming!

Wow. The screens of your new game look incredible. What's the anticipated release date and what is the price point?

Their games usually launch at $4.99 or $5.99 but just wait a few days and it will drop to 99c (I'm exaggerating a little).

We don't have an official launch date or price for Le Havre yet, but we will post both here when we have them.

Just a quick note to say that Le Havre could be released as early as this week. We're just waiting for Apple approval.

The launch price will be $4.99 for the app as described above (universal, async multiplayer, etc.)

So, save some pennies and and get ready to enjoy Le Havre!

I've been hearing some great advance buzz about this game, and we'll be buying this as soon as it is released in the US.

Le Havre should be IOS Game of the Year

FYI: I've been in the beta test group, playing the game ASYNCH for weeks and it is wonderful. Yes folks, the same art as in the board game.

Full rules set with building descriptions etc., all easily accessible from within the game. UI functions flawlessly. Hugely helpful hint system for those still learning how to play. Undo ensures no swipe errors, a common problem with IOS games.

In all, I don't know how this product could possibly have been done any better. Even the background music works well. I found myself humming the tune during a round of golf two weeks ago and couldn't get it out of my head for the entire day.

Le Havre has my vote for IOS game of the year.

    Regards,

    Alan

Took a little longer than a few days but it happened anyways. I don't know why I let this bother me. I'm always glad to buy all of Codito's games on day 1 both because I can't wait to play them and also because I want to support their great efforts. At the same time, I cringe every time their games go on sale for a buck. I kind of wish that the Coding Monkeys' price integrity was a little more common.
