Not sure if the price changed yet. I loved playing this on my beat down old ipod touch 2; it might not blow you away NOW but it's a fun 3d offroad motorcycle racer with a bunch of modes. I've forgotten if it only has tilt controls or if you can use a slider/buttons/etc. FMX Riders The Quadsphere Join over 2 million players! #1 App in 19 countries #1 Game in 27 countries #1 Racing Game in 35 countries (November 6t… $2.99 Buy Now Watch Media DetailsJoin over 2 million players! #1 App in 19 countries #1 Game in 27 countries #1 Racing Game in 35 countries (November 6th 2012) FMX Riders is an Arcade Freestyle Motocross Racer loaded with features, the most important being it's FUN! Swipe across your rider when in the air to do flips and spins! It's plainly intuitive! Whether it's going through the World Circuit Career mode, challenging your friends with your best Replays/Ghosts, fighting your way to the top of the 15+ Leaderboards or upping your rank in the Online Multiplayer, FMX Riders is here to deliver! "one of the best games in the App Store to date." (4.5/5) appadvice.com "FMX Riders strikes a welcome balance between racing and stunt-work, as well as offering a robust selection of game modes that will keep you glued to the track for quite some time" (7/10) pocketgamer.co.uk "one of the best games I’ve played on my iPhone for a while – and certainly one of, if not the, best in its genre." (4.5/5) theportablegamer.com "Overall FMX Riders is a huge amount of fun and offers a nice variety of things to do. With the addition of Game Center support for racing online this is one awesome game." (4/5) slinkystudio.info Key features: * Universal * Colorful Art Style * 4 Game modes : Race, Freestyle, Time Attack and Hotlap Time Attack * World Circuit Career mode with 9 Tours and over 40 events * Online Multiplayer via Game Center with Auto Matchmaking * Game Center Global Leaderboards and Achievements * Save and share replays with your Game Center friends * Intuitive Tilt and Touch controls * Retina Display Watch the trailer and more on www.fmx-riders.com Tips: FMX Riders was designed around Tilt to turn and Auto-acceleration controls from the start. They are the default and recommended control settings. You can however activate touch-to-turn and manual acceleration in the settings menu, but we strongly recommend giving the default controls a try. In any case you can adjust the sensitivity of your turning in the control settings. Tricks are hard to pull off! You should only launch tricks on the bigger jumps to make sure you can land them without crashing. Flips and especially spins are much safer on the medium and small jumps. The 3 Categories provide progressive difficulty. In 125cc, jumps and tricks are easier to land, whereas in 450cc you will have to complete your spins/flips/tricks before landing if you don't want to crash.
