Hello! I'm trying to finish iPad version of my app. But I can't find info about icons. I know that there should be 2 icons: 72*72 and 48*48. But how should they be named in the bundle? (Icon.png and Icon-Small.png do not work in the simulator). Can anybody help?
Fixed I fixed it. This was a bug in the simulator. Build->Clean, simulator relaunch, and now "Icon.png" and "Icon-Small.png" are working well.
The 48x48 icon is no longer required according to recent reports, no matter what the HIG says. Devs who have been including it are getting a submission error, and have to remove it.
I'm pretty sure the 48x48 is the same as the 29x29 that could be submitted in your iPhone app. It was never required, if it is there it will be used in spotlight search and in settings if your app uses them, if you don't include it, your normal app icon is scaled automatically and used.
