Thanks so much gwet! :) This game is definitely a BEAST compared to Wispin, as far as amount of content and game-length goes!

I can't reveal too many additional details at the moment, but we definitely tried to choose screenshots that gave a few clues away about the different aspects of the game.

I can tell you that it is very reminiscent of an old-school platformer, but with emphasis on non-linearity, some puzzle-esque twists, and finally a number of additional touches that make it suited for the iPhone/iPod.

Edit: You'll of course be able to see how the game actually plays when the trailer hits, as well :)

Hmm after taking a better look at the screenshots, here's my guess on how the game could work: You'll have to jump and move around getting stuff on your plate, you can jump on roof too, and you'll have to balance your plate with tilt...

Ok maybe not, but that's just how it looks like! :p

I was so Hoping that this game would have the same art style as monsters ate my condo.. Damn :(

I want to see a whole damn franchise build on MAMC!
They should turn into into a similar franchise as chop chop games
    Keep
Bring out games by the Same dev with "monsters" in it, with the same sort of art style and I'd buy EVERY one!

Chris, I'm officially psyched. Wispin was great and it'll be fantastic to see how you can work with Adult Swim to come out with something just as crazy.

    Here's the question though:

Did you see that Yahoo answers post regarding sandwiches? : D
    Yes, *that* one.
    Heh.

We've been keeping our focus on the iPhone/iPod Touch for launch, (just because the game is so huge, we wanted to make sure it's as polished as possible on each device) so I'm afraid not at the moment, but we do want to consider getting in on the iPad in the near future. I promise to keep you guys posted!

Thanks a bunch, Nullroar! I'm afraid I haven't seen the post in question, but I did notice some strange results from google searches... hopefully our game overtakes all the weird search results soon! ;)

Just wanted to pop in and say we're still alive!

While I still can't give an exact release date, I wanted you all to know the game is finished... and you should start to keep your eyes peeled very soon. :)

Grumpyface Studios + adult swim = it will be hard to resist :p
As the game is a part of the "5 exclusive iOS games for 2011" and as Monsters Ate My Condo is gorgeous, I have big hopes for this second one with the tiny guy and his sandwiches.
I understand the lack of universal version for launch, but for your next game, go universal please ;)

Thanks, Zaz! We'd love to convert this game to Universal or release the next game that way.. just need to find the time and the right circumstances to make it happen. It's definitely not out of the question and you can be sure I'll be posting about it if we're able to do so.

I still cannot give specifics I'm afraid, but it's definitely this month as mentioned before. Sorry to be a tease, but the release date announcement is out of my hands on this one.

I cannot tell you how excited we are to see everyone's reaction... I think I mentioned it briefly before, but this definitely ended up being a *big* game (as far as platformers go) with lots of levels, things to discover, and different types of records to compete for. We're hoping it keeps people busy for awhile :)
