Lol I was just about to post this ,but yeah when I heard crazy taxi was coming in October the first thing I thought was where is jet set radio ,im hoping that they will release it same time as the vita version so all mobile devices will get it at the same time ,but it would be awesome to get jet set & crazy taxi in the same month ,but I doubt it
I dont really remember but didnt soul calibur mysteriously appear on the appstore or did that get a release date ,sega doesnt really give alot of info ,they like to stay closed lip
I can't fathom how they can translate the controls to a touch screen, remember how you had to boost, change gear down then change up and hit gas at the same time or something. You had to press a and right trigger at the sametime how can they translate those controls. To drift also you had to use two buttons together if I remember correctly.
The controls, playing the Dreamcast version of the game, really required some dexterity to master. I agree with you...no idea how this game will translate to iOS. I can't envision the controls being any good, though if they support iCade, I'd be more interested. In the meantime, I'm still waiting on Jet Set Radio for iOS. It was announced a while ago and seems to have vanished in the ether. I posted to Sega's Twitter feed about JSR and they said it is still on the way. --DotComCTO
Preview by Slidetoplay, the game must be coming really soon : http://www.slidetoplay.com/story/crazy-taxi-hands-on-preview-and-video Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
I cant wait to play this on my ipod touch 5 ,my xperia play & vita will definetly be jealous cause this would definetly be better with buttons to bad this isnt coming to android ,but this does look like its coming real soon & ready for release but it makes me wonder what happen to jet set radio ,i wouldnt be surprised if there was delay cause of optimization or controls or hopefully it releases same time as the ps vita version
But better then tilt controls. Hopefully it has different control options so that everyone can enjoy it
I'd use controls like in Gangstar Rio, with tilting to steer, and pressing different sides of the screen to accelerate and decelerate
