So far the gameplay feels identical to "Keep." But I have not tried the ice Mage yet, nor unlocked the other three mages to see what they have to offer.
endless yes, but bummer no. there's a big improvement in the types of mages you can play, and a persistent rpg element throughout all your endless games. Sells for only 99c and i'm sure will provide multiple hours of entertainment. This is a quick prequel to SK, and therefore you can't kill Solomon in it! There will supposedly be a sequel to SK coming out too after this, and that should be more of a full game
Same here. Insta-bought and Solomon's Keep is easily one of my favorite iPod games. Yeah, I'm not too crazy about the icon either. It seems like a major step-down from the Solomon's Keep icon.
After spending some time with this I have to say: PURE AWESOMNESS !!!! The SK Feel is definitely right to on the spot aka some of the best controls and game mechanics you can find in a dual stick shooter today. And unlike most survival shooters that leave you somewhat empty because there is nothing more than survival, just a instantiation of game mechanics the perks and level upgrade give you plenty to come back and be satisfied. And there are some treats to the gameplay such as chasing of Solomon, that give SB an additional twist. The lightning effects are also awesome and the scenary looks just right scary. Though this offers much already known from SK this is not just a reskin. SB is the next version upgrade level with an insane number of Enemies on in the arena. This is going to stay on my iTouch! PS: only thing I am unsure is should I cheat and buy additional 10000 Gold for $1 to support the developer or not? Opinions?
I did a buck to support the devs and used it to unlock the other characters. I can earn the rest of the content. So far from the original characters, Aliss+Magic Circle=Win. Morth is extremely fun once you get his ice range higher. This is definitely staying on the touch.
This is definitely going on my "I'll buy these when I run out of other things to play" list. Meaning, I'll probably get it tomorrow.
Bought this this morning and i'm loving it A quick question, is the $1 DLC for the 10k gold to unlock the other three characters? or can you unlock them somehow by playing?
Love these guys! I think they should charge more for their RPG apps than currently are. I was all ready to shell out $2.99 for this one after really enjoying the original... One negative comment. The icon is SO UGLY!
