Yesterday we started compiling an adhoc for pitching reasons... the problem I see with it is that the .app can be unzipped and a lot of the game content is visible, and of course... prone to be stolen, etc. is there a way to encrypt that data in some kind off format?
Even if you upload the app onto iTunes, a buyer can unzip and get the game content. So there isn't much you can do. Anyway, graphics are pretty useless without their respective Photoshop, Illustrator or Flash documents, so just make sure you don't include anything the user can edit to fit their needs.
Yes. Cocos2d specific discussion: http://www.cocos2d-iphone.org/forum/topic/4681 But you may be able to adapt it to what you need.
Note that you'd have to declare that you're using encryption when submitting, which would typically take longer. Good luck with it
