We need some more story here. Did you infringe on some other property somehow? Was your app subliminally causing people to defect to North Korea?

Maybe because you cloned original Gold Miner? Don't know...

That was my guess too. However I doubt Apple would approve of it in the first place, if it had some copyright infringement.

I dunno, there was that App with a picture of Mario with the colours changed... and one with Link from Zelda, not to mention Ricky which uses numerous Nintendo sprites and is still for sale.

1.) You copied the original gold miner.

2.) The gold miner developers realized, and emailed Apple.

    3.) Removed from sale.

To solve this problem, don't design apps so similar to others.

For instance, if you're copying gold miner, don't name your app goldEN miner. It just adds fuel to the infringement flame.

seems to show more information the game. after doing a search - i found "gold miner" which looks like this:

    http://www.hamsterpaj.net/onlinespel/gold-miner

are the iphone and flash developer the same person? why use a different title screen and name? chances are they sent a cease and desist; apple should have sent it through to the developer. might be in a spam folder - but this is, if they are not the same developer an obvious infringement.

Google tells me that both of you were thinking:

    "Perhaps because the gunmen used"

Haha hilarious! We have a chinese dev in our office and she tells me that the word is indeed "gunmen" but it depends on the context and in this case apparently means false reviewers I think... :)

haha, yeah, the term means fake reviewers.

I guess I maybe a little cynical but the game received an awful lot of 5 star reviews on its launch day. just my observation.
