holy crap - i had no idea this was coming to iphone - - - - a m a z i n g. All hail the new king of TBS... with cross platform multiplayer! this game already has a huge cult following and active userbase. .......im stunned......
hands down, thats exactly the TBS I'm looking for... this one is a must buy for me. Don't care Rogue Planet anymore... I'm so exciting
I was wondering how long it was going to be before this made it to a mobile platform. I must admit that I'm a bit surprised it never saw the light of day on the Pocket PC, though, since there is a Windows version. At any rate I'll be looking forward to giving this a go on the iPhone.
This looks way more polished than the Kings game that was just released. I just don't really like its graphics style.
This is good news. I had quite a bit of fun with the mac version. It's jammed packed with detailed stats and rules, so those who like more in depth TBS's should love this, assuming the theme tickles your fancy. I only hope that the iDevice version is the full Sunday roast, and not just a couple of potatoes and a splat of parsnip bake! The vid looks like it is from the pc/mac version. I am aflame with curiosity how this one will turn out. To have this on my iPod would a good thing indeed
Battle for Wesnoth includes many quick gameplay options, including playing a single map (or randomly generated) with up to 8 players: internet multiplayer, local "hot seat", or AI controlled. The iPhone port will be as complete as possible, meaning you should plan to keep 200+ mb free
Thats great - a couple questions.. 1) Will this be free like the other versions of Battle for Wesnoth? It really doesnt matter to me - I would gladly pay a higher price for this game. 2) Is this game a battery killer??
