with madden being released today, its time to start up the great the debate: who has the better football game: EA's Madden or Gamelofts NFL? personally i think madden 10 was better then nfl 10 by a landslide, but gameloft has made vast improvements over last years. i have both 2011 games, so here's my comparisin: Graphics- Madden Running plays- Gameloft Passing plays- Gameloft Defense- Madden tutorial- Gameloft Game modes- Madden Multiplayer- only madden has multiplayer, bluetooth only menus- Madden music- Madden commentary- Madden the result: i think that game loft did a great job on controlling the offense, but thats where it ends. there is no user pass defense whatsoever, you need to pray for your db to rarely stop it. maddens total defensive control is head over heels better then that, the grapics are better, there are trades unlike in gamelofts, and the menu system is unchanged from last year, only now it has pictures of drew brees instead of polamalu and fitzgerald. except, another place where gameloft is superior is its indepth tutorial, having you on the field using the controlls, unlike madden having you flip through screenshots and text. if your looking for a great football experience on your iphone and ipod, go for madden at 7.99, but if your looking for a casual pick up and play, gameloft is more user friendly and cheaper at 6.99 wich should very soon drop in price, where madden propbably wont untill 2012 comes out. yeah wrong section and how on earth did you give graphics to madden loads of lag and no motion capture
i never experienced any lag, and i found those cutscene too freguent and played out fast. that was my own opinion though, yours is just that gameloft did better in graphics
should have a option tho.. I will not buy anything from EA till they fix there old games in your poll. chris.
I just finished a game of Madden. Definitely better. The animations arent nearly as bad as people made them out to be either.
Gameloft's NFL 2010 definitely won last year, but this year it's a whole different story. Madden definitely takes it. Lol have ya'll noticed the new gameloft logo thingy? I think it's pretty gay compared to their old one. Just saying.
Do both games have instant replays this year around (since Madden missed out on it last year?) If so, are they save-able (a-la X2 Football)?
because its wich game is better, for people who are interested in buying one, that would be pointless
I have Madden 2010 for my iPhone, I also have NFL 2010. Madden=better. I also have Madden 11 for my iPhone and iPad, and Madden 11 for iPad dominates!
100% agree, dont come troll this thread, only come if your a fan of the sport or are just interested by the game, this is ment to help people chose between the two very enjoyable football games
I think Gameloft's players and pace, with Madden's gameflow, graphics and presentation would be perfect. My vote goes to Madden overall, EA has impressed me withthe consolishness of it.
Well Madden is automatically disqualified as it does not have a play clock. I can run out an entire quarter off a run play which is ridiculous
