Ju(ke)beat has finally arrived on the US Appstore! For the uninitiated, Jubeat is part of Bemani's series of music games (Beatmania, Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Freaks, etc) and uses a 16-button grid layout to display cues which need to be pressed in tandem with the background musical score. Feel free to share tips and impressions on the DLC available for the game! jukebeat KONAMI Check out jukebeat, a music simulation game like no other, and see how addictive tapping to the beat can be! Marker(s) will appear on the grid in time with the music. When the marker has filled out the tile it's on, tap it for the most points! The better the timing, the higher the points! I've already played a couple of tracks and everything seems on par with the Japanese one (color scheme, visuals, effects, etc) except for the fact that they have different tracks. I'm not digging these "English" ones :/ EDIT: Added an image of the In-App Store in the main post madebymadison Well-Known Member Mar 8, 2011 356 0 0 Artist #4 madebymadison, Aug 14, 2011 It's not in Europe so I decided to use my Japanese account for the Japanese Jubeat after all. What are the best j-pop IAPS? The cutest songs? And it's SO hard even on easy! OMG! lena Well-Known Member Mar 26, 2011 1,049 0 36 #5 lena, Feb 3, 2012 I bought the Cyndi Lauper tracks and I'm having a blast! I had forgotten how much fun it is to play a rhythm game to fun 80's music. But... it is so hard! I just cannot make out the patterns to the hard parts on the medium difficulty. In "Girls just wanna have fun" for example, there are a few parts in the middle of the song where you have to press 3 or 4 boxes at the same time, quickly after eachother. I don't even see what I have to do, let alone do it without error. I can pass the songs with a B rating, most of it is doable enough, but those difficult parts... I have no idea on how to get any further. Any tips? I remember that I used to find step-charts or finger-charts for rhythm games on the internet. I think even Elite Beat had a GameFAQ with charts. Does anything like that exist for this game? (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Do you already have an account?
