Couldn't win the first level on "normal". The two bosses in last wave #30 don't care about all my perfectly placed and upgraded turrets. Seems I need a better shooter gun. But it costs 12,000 and I've got only 10,500 at the end. So I need to play that level once more, then buy the gun, and then I'll get some stars on the third attempt maybe. Sounds like heavy grinding. Or maybe better start with "easy". Bummer. Pretty fun to play and with some new ideas, but… Edit: You should indeed better start on "easy". Played it for 90 min now and it seems that IAPs aren't that bad as I thought before. With no appinfos, I would much rather use the web version especially in the price reduction forum. nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #13 nightc1, Dec 3, 2012 Typically when I'm at home and wanting to check the forums here with my iPhone, I use the TA App to post (since it stores my log in info) and then I use Safari so the links are available and I can open multiple threads (instead of just 1 in the App). It's a shame that the App doesn't work that great. Oddly, often on the main iphone game board the threads they will have the link information at the top of them through the App... but it's very rare for me to find that on this forum. Really as decent as the App is, it needs some serious work before I can depend on it for more than just the occasional post. I hope the team behind it are working to make it better. But considering it's free as is the site... I'll continue to work around it's idiosyncrasies. Respox Active Member Sep 4, 2012 41 0 6 #14 Respox, Dec 3, 2012 I see the link in the appinfo just fine. Habakuk Well-Known Member Dec 11, 2008 4,779 9 38 Vienna, Austria http://rossau.wordpress.com #17 Habakuk, Dec 3, 2012 First I tried in on "normal" and failed (described that here) in the first level. Now I began new from the scratch on "easy". And guess what? It's too easy! I won 17 of 18 stars in GB always on the first attempt. And accomplished 5 (of 9?) Japan levels with three stars each on the first try as well. Basically with two towers (with two upgrades each). All with towers alone. No snipers (as in "normal") and far less waves. Only had to shoot with the aim-and-shoot guns the bosses (last waves) in Japan. 45 min without IAPs. Will pick it up again later. But nice to play (esp. on "normal" because there is much more going on, some snipers who ignore your towers, you can hear them appearing by the sound of a big clock, more obstacles in the way) and to watch. Very interesting and well done AI of all enemies, some of them go here, some there. And there is pretty a bunch of towers and special weapons waiting to be unlocked. For more or less experienced td gamers too easy on "easy" and too hard on "normal" in my honest opinion. Or maybe you have to play on "easy" first for gathering some basic (upgraded) equipment which helps on "normal" later. Can't tell yet if it's recommended or not because of the IAPs. But for td beginners it seems to be pretty fun at least for one hour or so. No link appears. There's no ability to zoom in or out, it's forced to a more "mobile website" style fixed width format. Yet the link I posted with the standard URL tags shows and works perfectly. The bug is probably in the appinfo=all tag formatting for mobile devices. marco76 Well-Known Member Jun 5, 2010 618 0 0 Verona - Italy #20 marco76, Dec 4, 2012 Cool (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
