I'm currently working on my second iOS game, it's going to be a puzzle platformer, and I was wondering, what you guys preferred gameplay wise, graphics will all be in 3D. Thanks
Kind of a loaded question as I've seen great and bad games in both 2D and 3D. Personally, I like both. Just have to choose what best fits with what your trying to do -- as a puzzle platformer the big factor may be the type of puzzles you're talking about. There are also some platformers that have a 3D "look" but still have the basic 2D style of gameplay.
Really depends. There are good 3D platformers like Crazy Hedgy, but there just aren't that many 3D platformers in App Store. 2D platformers on the other hand have done well in App Store and my latest addiction is Swordigo 2D platformers are better cause Quantity beats Quality when Quantity comes with Quality
