I am going to be buying a 4G Ipod Touch. I want to know if 8GB is enough for games and music? I already have 4GB of music I would transfer to it. Also what is the average space a game takes up? What is the highest?

    Thank You.

If youre only gonna buy casual games, I guess it's enough. Rage is over 1gb unpacked, gt racing is over 1gb unpacked. Many other games are in the high hundred mbs. I have a 32gb 4th gen and I don't even have enough room xP.

On an 8 gig there is always some space (probably at least 1 gb) which holds the OS. Plus 4 gigs of music, doesn't leave much room for other apps. There will be some but you're gonna have to be selective.

Definitly a 32 gig. 4 gig of music?!?!? Pretty soon, considering the preloaded apps take up 1 gig, you have 3 gig of open space left. Have to account for pictures and such. Definitly get 32

I'll just have to get an 8GB.

Is 3GB enough for having Chaos Rings, Zenonia, Rimelands, Angry Birds, Final Fantasy, Aralon, Popular apps, etc at the same time?

I wish they still did the 16gb but I guess that the 32gb is what you'll have to get. Don't get an 8gb iTouch. My friends are allways deleting games like FIFA11. What type of games you want to play?

If you get an 8gb, I suggest putting your music on something else. You must have some kind of mp3 if you have 4gb of music right? You get 6.8gb of free space from an 8gb iPod, that's a decent size if you only buy the games you really want. You should be able to fit 50-75 of your favorite games.

Get the 32gb when you can afford it, I have an 8gb & had to constanly delete music, photos, etc. To provide space for something else. 8 gb will/can go quick. I brought the 64gb version but will get a 64gb 4th gen. Hope this helps

I have a 32gb iPhone and I have a hard enough time keeping enough free space on it for new games. I can't imagine having only 8gb of space for everything. You definitely should consider looking at the 32gb.

The 8GB model really only gives you about 6.8GBs of storage space. The operating system takes the other 1.2GBs for itself. 8GB's is still OK for casual gaming, as many have said... But you do quickly run out of room if you plan on buying some of the larger games. I honestly don't know why Apple doesn't offer a 16GB model anymore?

8GB will be more than enough. You will actually have 7GB to work with, take away 4GB of your music and you will have 3GB for games. That is definitely more than enough, unless you are a serious addict.
