Boing - Boing - Boing! The spikes are coming back! March 5th*, 2013 - SpikeDislike2 (*Apple-Review-Status dependant!)
As a quick example, here's me flipping between SpikeDislike and SpikeDislike2! It might look the same, but the new (completely rewritten!) engine is much faster and smoother than the previous edition. Most of your favourite themes have also been lovingly recreated, including Basketball, Sheep and Munky, with each theme now bringing it's own special little set of rules! There's actually a point to them, this time!! SpikeDislike2 has been uploaded to Apple. It's in their hands, now! Tentative Release Date : March 5th, pending approval.
One week to go!! Apple have the game, and it's all a matter of waiting.. In the meantime, if you have a printer, some spare time, and a lot of boredom to kill, why not try the excellent SpikeDislike - The Board Game!! It's ... Something!!!

Hmmm I liked the first game but I'm not sure I'd buy it twice is there anything in the new version to warrant buying it again?
You bet there's more!! This time around, instead of just having "skins", each of the available themes tweaks the rules, from minor additions like the Basketball Hoops, to huge gameplay changes like.. .. hmm.. well, that'd be telling!! This results in a whole bunch of different gameplay modes, and since we're playing on iOS, each one comes with it's own GameCenter Scoreboard! Hurray! There's currently 8 different themes in the game, with more to come as and when I come up with them. Peow!!
The official launch day isn't until tomorrow, but I don't trust Apple to "switch it on" at the right time, so I've set it a day early just to be on the safe side. Depending on where you are in the world, SpikeDislike2 may or may not be available in the AppStore, RIGHT NOW!!
