However I don't get your point. You just send an image of Shop screen. You don't have to buy gems in this game, you can obtain them during gameplay for free. PeteOzzy Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2013 4,596 3 0 Norwich, England #5 PeteOzzy, May 13, 2015 I'm so glad this already has a thread; this is the third Running Pillow game I've got on my device. It's probably my least favourite if I'm being brutally honest, mostly because it's the only one sporting an energy system but I'm still getting a fair bit of fun out of it. I'm having a few "hiccups" with it, but it has a lot of personality so I can see why some wouldn't enjoy it as much as I am. The energy system is a little daunting until you realise a day is considered to be 6 hours or so, which actually makes it more generous than most F2P. I've got a full team of blue rarity or higher and they're max level so it's not been greedy in my experience at all. It's certainly not a deep game, but then it's a F2P automatic card battler and they never are. There's a fair bit of charm though and it fits nicely between my Dungeon Wheel and Cardstone cycle. It's a hard one to recommend to many people as I know the guys here aren't particularly tolerant towards heavy F2P elements and those that are probably want a more infinite experience. I've definitely had my fun though and will continue to before buying an IAP before I delete it. It's well worth checking out their other games if you do like Card Lords. Wrath Well-Known Member May 26, 2011 480 9 18 Seattle #6 Wrath, May 15, 2015 I've always enjoyed TCG's and this one seems designed to be easy to pick up and play whenever you have only a few moments to spare, which is nice - I don't always want overly-technical games to learn or that take a while to finish a game. This one seems more about collecting cards and evolving them into stronger versions rather than being about card gameplay, which the AI handles for you, and doesn't appear to have a lot of strategy other than choosing which cards you use. So yeah, a nice casual card battler for free - I like it. And does make me curious to try out other games by the developer... Running Pillow Member Dec 3, 2014 11 0 1 #7 Running Pillow, May 16, 2015 Thanks Thanks a lot for your feedback guys! Yes, the game has many F2P elements. However we tried hard to make it so that player is not forced to spend real money on game to enjoy it. We have many players in top ranks of PvP arena who spend no money at all. The energy mechanic is in my personal opinion a good thing for a lot of players of F2P games as it basicaly gives you a clear limit of time you have to spend in game to keep competetive and enjoy it. A lot of players nowdays do not want to play game X hours/day as they simply do not have time. Card Lords suppose to appeal to people who want a simple, yet enough interesting TCG which you can play for few minutes a day and still feel the progress. Give it a chance not all F2P are "evil" Blue_Lotus New Member Jun 17, 2015 1 0 0 #8 Blue_Lotus, Jun 17, 2015 Last edited: Jun 17, 2015 Sorry devs, whatever you were trying to achieve with this game- you failed badly, horribly! This is seriously one of the most unfun, expensive (concerning value-price), unappealing, unattractive, uncomfortable, pay2win games i have ever played! Wouldnt even touch it if it was completely free and permanently playable! Rather play the game Card Lords desperately wants to be people, "Deck Heroes", the game is extremely similiar, but unbelievably superior, in every imaginable way, than this piece of ... software! CoreyFox Well-Known Member Jul 4, 2015 140 0 0 #9 CoreyFox, Aug 17, 2015 Card Lords is not comparable Deck Heroes - one is not 'better' then the other.. These two games fill different niches... I enjoy both, and for different reasons.. Card Lords is a neat little time waster.. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
