If you have any of the Goat simulator games go check the bundle price. It's on sale and I just got the two I didn't have free. Not sure if that's what is supposed to happen but it did.
Never mind i figured it out. Whatever you have paid already counts towards the bundle. If you got a goat game and paid 4.99 then the other two would be free as the bundle is 4.99 for the set. I only got the one game on sale at 99c so that's why i still have to pay $4 for the other two
There is hitman bundle that you lets you get one for free as well. I had hitman go, with the bundle I got hitman sniper for free.
The bundle costs $5, so if you paid $5 on any GS, you can download the rest for free. Haven't played GoatZ, but I like MMO better then the original because it has more things to do.
Let me explain: Goat Sim didn't actually go free (yet) But IGN made it their free game of the month a little while back, so if you got it for free then, the App Store views it as a purchase (at full price of $5 ) So, if you now go to the bundle now you can indeed get the rest for free too! Thanks to IGN & the goat devs, I guess, for this big freebie !
yeah it works, got GS free through IGN... now the other two! edit> same thing with Hitman Sniper... got Hitman GO through IGN
I'm not sure it has to involve the IGN code, though clearly that works, but I think it also works if you have purchased one of the games at full price. I did get my Goat Sim from an IGN code, but I think those codes must show as an actual purchase in the system. I've gotten games on sale for free before that were part of a bundle and it didn't effect the bundle price because I didn't pay anything. I suspect what's happening with this and the Hitman bundle is a mistake that will be corrected soon if not already.
Yes and no. Yes- if you paid for one of the GS apps you will also get the bundle at the price of the bundle minus the price you paid. No- I don't think it's a mistake. Just that there's a difference between getting an app when it's App Store price is free and when you get a code to redeem (eg. From ign website) - which is counted as if you paid for it. After all, Apple doesn't know where you got the code from or how much you paid for it.
It's showing as £1 for me to complete the bundle.(I bought the original) When I've gifted games, it gives a code to the recipient to redeem, and it shows as a purchase and they can keave reviews etc. Slightly diff to promo codes (which you can't leave reviews for) and AppStore price drops, which deduct either zero or the lower price from bundles.
@CookingPie & cloudpuff - thanks for helping clear that up. I was pretty confused by the situation as I had never seen this happen before. I guess it's not often a bundle goes on sale for the same price or less than the individual apps cost.
I paid for the original the day it came out at full price. Snagged the other two for free. Goat sim MMO is a hilarious parody-half the time I forget about playing and end up staring at that "chat box".
