A bit weird, but if you don't have anything against buying it using IAP, the iPhone version seems to be the one to get since it's universal. (Unless I'm completely missing something here) Edit: And I can't find out either since it got that great "isn't compatible with iPad 2" thing when trying to download it dclose Well-Known Member Nov 20, 2011 1,866 0 0 #7 dclose, Nov 8, 2013 Even weirder is that the iPhone version appears to be a universal *demo* but an iPhone-only unlock. I think that's why it won't work for your iPad 2. The iPad version runs just fine on an iPad 2, according to the forums. mr_bez Well-Known Member Dec 20, 2012 2,053 3 38 #8 mr_bez, Nov 8, 2013 Now I'm massively confused by this thread. Also, how can iPad 2 not be supported when iPad Mini is? Aren't they basically the same device? dclose Well-Known Member Nov 20, 2011 1,866 0 0 #9 dclose, Nov 8, 2013 Last edited: Nov 8, 2013 There are two different versions of this game being discussed. The iPad-only version is the one that's on sale for 99 cents, and the one that the appinfo display links to above. That game will run on any iPad, according to the forums. Other people mentioned that there's also a free demo available for this game, and that demo is universal. However, it's not the full game. To get the full game you must buy an IAP unlock. In that case, it appears to unlock an iPhone-only version, NOT an iPad-compatible version, not to work with iPad 2 which is what is causing the confusion. So even though the demo is universal, the IAP unlock appears not to be for iPad 2, which is weird and confusing, I agree. biokid Well-Known Member Jul 11, 2013 931 0 0 Wop Wops #10 biokid, Nov 8, 2013 I was able to unlock the free-to-try version on my Ipad 4 with no problem (buy button don't show up again at all). Note: IAP unlock is on sale for $0.99 as well. The Free version is actually more recently updated version of the Ipad version, making it Universal and with a few fixes/improvements. So, I would recommend you to get this one. chris1a Well-Known Member Mar 10, 2010 1,335 1 0 Sweden #11 chris1a, Nov 8, 2013 The universal/free version won't even download of you're on an iPad 2, it's the same issue we saw a few months back when Apple changed the requirement list, and a whole bunch of games was "not compatible with iPad 2" (even tho it was iPad mini compat). So, 1. The dudes at Apple setting up the requirements system are monkeys (= Fact.). 2. Big Fish, please add iPad 2 to the req list CygnetSeven Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 7,580 27 48 #12 CygnetSeven, Sep 7, 2015 On sale again as is the full game unlock in the universal edition.
