I would love to have Retro City Rampage on iOS! Check out the website of this 8-bit GTA! http://www.retrocityrampage.com/ I love the video and the chiptune! The game will come out soon on XBLA and WiiWare but I for one only have an iPad
I agree! RCR is a great game and I would love to have it on-the-go! I emailed the developers about any possible plans for mobile devices and they said there aren't any plans because they feel controls are important to their game. I disagree and feel that it would work well on touchscreen, especially since the GTA games have been ported to mobile, plus the rise of ios controllers would help, but I don't see this coming to iOS or android unfortunately. Until they change their minds I'll just have to play it on my pc....
Has anyone contacted the RCR developer to inquire about iOS porting? It's an amusing game with lots of homages and a crazy anything goes environment that could seem to work well with virtual controls.
