I think its a great Idea tho it does show where they are going and that they might have to come up with a new world to continue or they can do what Nintendo did with Mario and just make the birds like actors. They can make Titles like: Angry Birds Party Angry Birds Cart Racer Dr. Angry Birds puzzle fighter game Etc...
I f***in hate angry birds, but after seeing the Angry Birds Star Wars video, it's hard for me to ignore it. Might be the first Angry Birds title i'll spend time on. Lightsaber slash + Force Pull... Cant say no to that.
Gameplay video looked great. Seems to add a lot of new elements into the Angry Birds universe. I am pleasantly surprised. Instabuy for sure.
Yep. Deff want this after seeing the video. It's exactly what the name says. Expect standard angry birds gameplay with new Star Wars upgrades
Looking forward to this. Not a huge angry birds fan but love star wars. Wouldn't say star wars is 'old and stale'. The clone wars is popular as are the books (many of which top best seller lists) and after hearing the huge star Wr's news today I think it'll be as popular as ever. Roll on star wars 7 !!

They still need to post the video of the mighty eagle (now the mighty millenium falcon) and hope it's not paid like the one in angry birds space.
Torn I'm torn between this being another brutal commercialisation of ideas and art held close to my heart, and it probably being quite good fun on account of Rovio's experience at making highly playable and light hearted games.
Why is every one of these trailers using the cantina music, where it is obviously out of place? Was it too costly for them to licence the proper score?
Wouldnt worry, surely in the final release there'll be a few different tunes. Those short teaser trailers might use the same music but i reckon in the final app there'll be lots of tunes
Is this going to be just another AB in terms of gameplay? Between AB, Seasons and Space, I think the AB formula has been exhausted. Unless this game throws in some new ideas, I don't see the point (except for the Star Wars license, which doesn't really impress me, in fact it's kinda sad). EDIT: after watching the new trailer above, I think my question is answered. This is just AB Space with a Star Wars skin. Lame. Very lame. But it will make millions anyway, while more creative and interesting game apps go unnoticed to die a cold death on the app store.
I think that this is the most innovative angry birds ever all the characters have unique powers based on star wars
